The very first CatStock took place at Nothin’ Fancy Country Rock Saloon in Vernon, NY, marking the start of what would become a beloved community tradition. The inaugural event was spearheaded by Logan Chesebro and his band, One Man. The Band., with help from friends, volunteers, and local supporters who shared a passion for music and helping animals in need.

The lineup featured performances by One Man. The Band., Shane Archer Reed and The Harbingers, and Char and Aaron, filling the night with incredible local music, energy, and heart. All proceeds from CatStock 1 were donated to Finnland’s Fosters, supporting their ongoing work to rescue, care for, and rehome cats in need.

This first event proved that even a small idea can make a big difference — and laid the foundation for what would grow into a yearly celebration of music, community, and compassion. 🎶🐾
